I am so glad to try a new soup recipe that is tempting! This winter I have been alternating between butternut squash soup from a WilliamsSonoma holiday recipes book, and a tomato soup very much homemade creation. Time for a change. Thank you for all the good tips!
Thank you for the links! I had no ripe bananas on hand, so I tried the similar spelt pumpkin bread. Very good except just a hint of bitterness, as if there was slightly too much baking powder or soda for my taste. I'll reduce those a bit and try again.
Thanks for reading, Peter! Leavener quantities can be tricky. I often find that the baking soda can be reduced by 25% or even 50% and the recipe still works!
Thanks for sharing these fabulous recipes. I can’t wait to try the soup and substituting chicken for lamb sounds like a delicious meal.
Thanks for continuing to support and subscribe to my newsletter! I'm so glad you're finding the recipes enticing.

That butternut squash soup is so good though, and I'm sure your homemade tomato soup is just as delicious.

What is your KAB secret ingredient for quick breads?! Espresso powder? Salted caramel chips? Jammy bits? :) You kept me guessing.

Harvest grains blend, Kye! It adds a fun texture and wholesome flavor without overpowering the other nuances of the quick bread.
Beautiful pics and even better cooking tips! I love that you are branching out in ways that incorporate your mad KABC creds but move much beyond.
Thanks, Jan! It has been a fun project and I hope it continues to evolve. I really appreciate the support!
